How are you all? We are now on the other side of summer and there are still many sunny days to go! ☀️
For all parents out there, I hope the start of the school year went well and all your little ones have settled nicely into their new routine 📚. I love seeing their happy faces when they see their mates again, buying new school gear, and for my girls it is all about the school shoes 👟 - honestly I could buy them a poney, their reaction would still be the same.
Last time I started this blog with a negative paragraph. But I am very pleased to say that our menus are being printing as I am writing this blog 🎉💥! Hooray 😁. So not long! Steve has been constantly teasing me about what I was doing over summer… 😏 but hey, it took us time but we are so happy with the results! ✅.
So, new breakfast options, new drinks 🥤 , we have also added your favourite special bruschettas. For the tostadas left behind, don't worry, we have a plan which will come into fruition later in the year! (I told you we are full of ideas 😉).
Something incredible will also arrive at Café Nomad on Sunday the 31st of October. Personally, I have never been a fan of Halloween 🎃 because me and my brothers were not raised with this celebration in France. However, we are now café owners with more followers (thank you so much!) - and (most importantly) our workers would like to get dressed for the occasion *well except Steve. So we are going to do it properly. Raquel has been looking for wonderful decorations for this 3 tier platter. She certainly has gone the extra mile - and it all looks stunning!. We will publish some photos on our social networks. Before I forget, be sure to reserve your table - we have limited places.
A little “clin d’oeil” (wink) to my eldest daughter Louise. She reminded me that I wrote a paragraph about Anabelle when she was selected for the Spanish swimming competition back in August so I needed to write a little something about her. This month is actually the perfect month to do so as I couldn't have worked so much over the summer without her help 🧹. Like many teenagers, she is not the most confident person but she surely has a great working ethic. So merci ma puce pour m’avoir aider autant ❤️.
More good news for Nomad, our youngest recruit Sophie has recently qualified as a Mathematician after 6 years of hard work. So well done Sophie 👩🎓!
Let me talk to you about our new range of organic lattés: Moon Balance, Super Green, Golden Mellow and For Ever Beautiful. It took us an awful long time but we have found a range that in my opinion is pretty special 🎉. Each product is 100% Natural and Certified Organic. They are also gluten, dairy & soy free and have no additives. And finally they are either naturally dried or frozen directly after harvesting to maintain the highest level of vitamins and minerals. So perfect for your lattés, they can be mixed with any of your favourite milk. We hope you will like them!
Finally - One thing that is brewing in my mind is a little makeover of the café. It has been 5 years since Café Nomad first opened its doors, and as much as I am proud of our food, service and concept - the café itself is in some need of a little TLC. So if you happen to know anyone who could help design a new look (café & kitchen), please feel free to leave a comment below or send me a private message. It would be extremely helpful!

¿Cómo estáis? ¡Ahora estamos al otro lado del verano y todavía quedan muchos días soleados!
Para todos los padres, espero que el comienzo del año escolar haya ido bien y que todos vuestros pequeños se hayan adaptado bien a su nueva rutina. Me encanta ver sus caras felices 😁 cuando vuelven a ver a sus compañeros, comprando material escolar nuevo, y para mis niñas todo se trata de los zapatos nuevos; honestamente, podría comprarles un pony 🐴, su reacción seguiría siendo la misma.
La última vez comencé este blog con un párrafo negativo. Pero me complace mucho decir que nuestros menús están en camino y se imprimirán mientras escribo este blog 🎉💥! Hip hip hooray! 😁. Steve ha estado bromeando constantemente sobre lo que estaba haciendo durante el verano… 😏 pero bueno, nos tomó tiempo, ¡pero estamos muy contentos con los resultados! ✅.
Entonces, nuevas opciones de desayuno, nuevas bebidas, también hemos agregado vuestras bruschettas especiales favoritas. Para las tostadas que no están en el nuevo menú, no se preocupe, ¡tenemos un plan que se hará realidad más adelante en el año! (Te dije que estamos llenos de ideas 😉).
Algo increíble también llegará a Café Nomad el domingo 31 de octubre. Personalmente, nunca he sido fanático de Halloween 👻 porque simplemente mis hermanos y yo no nos criaron con esta celebración en Francia. Sin embargo, ahora somos dueños de este maravilloso café con más seguidores (¡muchisimas gracias!) - Y (lo más importante) nuestras trabajadores les gustaría vestirse* excepto Steve jajaja. Entonces vamos a hacerlo bien 🎊 . Raquel ha buscando maravillosas decoraciones para esta bandeja. Durante los próximos días, publicaremos fotos en nuestras redes sociales. No olvides reservar tu mesa - plazas limitadas.

Este mes es en realidad el mes perfecto para hacerlo, ya que no podría haber trabajado tanto durante el verano sin su ayuda. Como muchos adolescentes, no es la persona más segura de sí misma, pero seguramente tiene una gran ética de trabajo. Así que “merci ma puce pour m’avoir aider autant” ❤️.
Otro guiño - a nuestra joven Sophie que ha terminado su degree en Matemáticas 🧮 (después de 6 años … madre mía) - ya tienes tu certificado! ¡Muy bien hecho Sophie!
Por último, déjame hablarte de nuestra nueva gama de lattés orgánicos: Moon Balance, Super Green, Golden Mellow y For Ever Beautiful. Nos ha costado muchísimo tiempo, pero hemos encontrado un gama que en mi opinión, es especial. Cada producto es 100% natural y orgánico certificado. También son sin gluten, lácteos y soja y no tienen ningún aditivo. Y finalmente, se secan de forma natural o se congelan directamente después de la cosecha para mantener el nivel más alto de vitaminas y minerales. Finalmente, una cosa que estoy pensando hace mucho tiempo.. Han pasado 5 años que Café Nomad abrió sus puertas por primera vez, y por mucho que esté orgulloso de nuestra comida, servicio y concepto, el café en sí necesita un poco de cariño 🥰.
